But after a conversation with I wanted to make this ono Maybe I'll figure out how to make a better one someday.
Not all villains are pure evil! :c
It seems in a lot of comics, movies, books, etc, villains are immediately assumed and made to be 100% evil, when in some cases they aren't.
Sometimes they're just.. misunderstood.
This also goes with "you don't have to be goody-goody to be a hero".
Seriously, it's in the dictionary:
You seem like you're thinking of antagonists.
I prefer the Antagonist being complex, more salt to the soup. Especially when you can understand why they're doing whatever it is they're doing in my own experience it has been "I get it. Still doesn't justify it, but I get it."
Which must be why I absolutly love the "Fallen hero" villain.
Antagonists whom are simply evil, with little else supporting them, are, well, boring.
Or tragic villains.
It was a fun story to write, even though it took a little over a year to complete, (though, it /was/ 300 pages long).
He's sadistic, mean, and kills people, but he only became that way from killing so many, and he only kills them because he has to, to look out for his sister. His real personality is actually like his sister's, so he's actually very nice and kind. xD
There are villains that are misunderstood:
Mr. Freeze (Batman)
Impmon (Digimon Tamers)
Bushroot (Darwing Duck)
